The PCD Advisory Council  goal is to examine industry, organizational, community and educational trends and issues as they relate to our current workforce. 

Past findings of this collaborative group have developed into important PCD programs and other opportunities for school districts in the region.

Advisory Council members seeking a more active role in the Partnership are welcome to join committees and are also welcome to express their interest in becoming active on the Board of Directors.

Meeting Format:
The Advisory Council meets virtually once a month for 1/2 hour.

Speakers who can provide valuable information about trends are invited to speak and encouraged to attend meetings.

  • Community organizations
  • Government agencies
  • Military
  • Post-secondary and credential organizations
  • Schools
  • The greater community


In short, organizations looking to educate, collaborate, and/or cultivate the awareness of the many career paths available in the Capital Region through student & educator programming, experiential learning, networking and more.



Our work: The Partnership for Career Development works to build a system of K-12 career education, increase awareness of post secondary training and education opportunities, and strengthen workforce development in the Pennsylvania Capital Region.
