Lynda Morris,CEO

Lynda joined the Partnership in 2013 and brings with her a strong and diverse background in non-profit management, education, marketing, public relations, event management, development and communications. 
 
Lynda received her Bachelor of Science from Hofstra University in New York. She has worked throughout the country, living in NY, MD and PA. As a speaker, she has provided workshops for customer service, marketing, promotions, merchandising, career readiness, business-education partnerships and more in Pennsylvania and throughout the country.

Since leaving NY, Lynda has worked as a consultant in many industries with numerous private and non-profit organizations. Lynda has amassed a significant profile of experiences through her work and volunteering that include event management, development, publicity, marketing, public speaking, project management, program exploration and development, employer and post-secondary collaboration, career education and more. Lynda received her Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in January 2013, and her Master's in Strategic Leadership from Messiah College in 2018.

Lynda is a proud member of: the Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technical Administrators (PACTA), the Pennsylvania School Counselors Association (PSCA), the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC), the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), the Cumberland Area Economic Development Corporation (CAEDC), the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce, the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Shippensburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Perry County Chamber of Commerce. In addition to membership, Lynda sits on the Education and Business Partnership Committee, as well as the Government Relations Committee of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and CREDC, and the Workforce Readiness Committee of Human Resources Professionals (HRP) of CPA, an affiliate of SHRM.

Lynda has worked with Team PA, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), the PA Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations on a variety of initiatives related to career readiness. Lynda regularly meets with representatives including career counselors, coordinators, school and district administrators, transition support, co-op coordinators, faculty and staff from the 25+ CRPCD member school districts and regional educational entities assisting with career developing activities in schools, and other programs including Leadership Cumberland, Junior Achievement and more.

Additionally, Lynda sits on Advisory Boards for: the Carlisle Area School District, Cumberland Perry AVTS, the Harrisburg School District, Dauphin County Technical School, West Perry School District, Newport School District, Susquenita School District, the Camp Hill School District, and Derry Township (Hershey).

Lynda has presented for Comcast Newsmakers, WITF's Smart Talk, the Education Policy and Leadership Center's Fellows Program, the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Philadelphia Symposium on Work-Based Learning at Temple University, The West Shore Junior Leadership Program, the Harrisburg Rotary Youth Community Development Team, and much more. She also enjoys her work in the schools, frequently assisting with mock interviews, career fairs, and other career exploration and development activities.
 


Anne Lauritzen, Director of Operations & Strategic Planning

Anne joined the Partnership in 2015 to add her strong organizational skills and background in education to the programming and administrative piece of the organization.  She received a B.A. in International Relations from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, as well as a commission as a Military Intelligence officer in the United States Army. After serving in the army, Anne worked for several  years in the human resources field, then returned to William and Mary for a Master’s degree in secondary education.  Through her work, both paid and volunteer, Anne has organized a plethora of events and  family service programs, served on several boards in a senior advisory capacity, and currently serves on the Carlisle Area School District Board of Directors. 

Our work: The Partnership for Career Development works to build a system of K-12 career education, increase awareness of post secondary training and education opportunities, and strengthen workforce development in the Pennsylvania Capital Region.
